“ Stopped here for lunch on rainy December day. Great to sit outside in covered and heated patio. The food wasn't fancy but was good quality and well cooked. I especially recommend the lamb stew. Service friendly. ”
“ Very good! We were late in the evening during covid times but they still kept the kitchen open for us, we chose 2 platos combinados (8€) and 1 plate with local ham eggs and potatoes (10€) Everything was very tasty and the place friendly, it’s hearty comfort food so we were quite surprised at some of the previous reviews! ”
“ Arrived in Trujillo for 3 night stay and was looking for somewhere to eat dinner on our first night. Read the reviews and they were a mixed bag of scores. However, we tried it anyway, the place was very busy but we were given a very friendly greeting and shown to a table. The food was delicious, I had the beef cheeks in a very tasty red wine sauce and my wife had prawns in hot garlic oil. I have to say that we are very critical when we pay good money to eat out, but this establishment gets top marks for Service, Food, Economy and Ambience and we will not rule out using this again before we leave. On my experience I can highly recommend it. ”
“ Better than we expected from seeing the reviews. The service was quick and friendly, the food good. Would repeat ”
“ For families with younger kids this was great! It was always open, so no waiting until 8 pm to eat. Hamburger and chicken fingers and fresh orange juice were great for kiddos. The steak and shrimp were great for adults. Salad was what everyone needed. Being right off the square our kids were able to run and play while we waited for the food. Only draw back was that smoking is allowed under the tent. Servers were very pleasant. ”
